The London airport will offer travelers 45-minutes of free Internet access per day across its five terminals.

If you hold a Heathrow Rewards card, your free Internet time doubles to 90 minutes.

Travelers looking for longer periods of access can pick from a range of pay-as-you-go options.

Having gotten used to continuous Internet access at work and home, travelers can quickly become disoriented in the absence of free WiFi.

But Internet access is seldom free at airports or in flight and are often expensive.
